First attempt. I'm a bit rusty, this was my first flight in Tu-154M since May. Flight outside of Russia hence the FL.

Cheers,

Hello Vulture,

Welcome on-board!

Have looked through your flight. There are several items you need to correct.

1. Indicate TOW next time.
2. Check CG before take-off and landing and set stabilizer to the position according to CG value. For Tu154M 24% MAC is a border b/w front and center CG, 32% is a border b/w center and rear. You had front CG at 23% MAC but stabilizer leveler was set to center CG position. And generally try to set CG at 27-28% MAC for better a/c controlability.
3. Standard TO is performed with 28* flaps position but not 15*.
3. Can't varify Vr since TOW isn't known.
4. Gear up should be done at the height not lower than 5 meters.
5. Full flaps retration shoud be done at IAS > 410 km/h and < 430 km/h.
6. Reduce TO thrust to nominal thrust (which is 93-95% RPM or 1,5% less than TO thrust) at circuit height. Climb up to required FL at the nominal thrust and at IAS 550 km/h (for maximum range) or 575 km/h (for best rate of climb).
7. Monitor IAS on approach and do not lose lower than 370 km/h until gear or flaps extended.
8. On approach flaps should be extended to 28* and 45*. No 15 or 36* position required for standard procedures.
9. Use MET (elevator trim) from rotate and until decision height when flying on hands.
10. Flare should be started at 4-6 meters if you follow a glide slope, not at 60. If steep GS (VS -4 mps and more) there should be pre-flare stage initiated at 15 meters to reduce vertical speed to 3-4 mps and then flare at 4-6 meters.

No issues with ABSU and automatic modes usage.

For better understaning principles for hand flying advise you to try to perform circuit flight like exercise 1 of the Flight School program.

Thanks for pointing out my errors Bell. I appreciate it.

I made another flight. FSMetar gave me some violent wind changes which caused an overspeed sometime during descend.

TOGW: 78 tons

Cheers

Hello,

Gear should be retracted at the height of 5-10 meters. You've done it at 3 m again.

Try to retract flaps at IAS not less than 330 km/h and at height about 120 meters, not lower but not too high unless SID requires. You started retraction at IAS 320 km/h and at the height of 900 meters.

Not sure you've performed the final turn in time since you've intercepted GS when were turning.

Lost IAS down to 350 km/h in this turn. Keep it at least 370 km/h until final.

It seems you performed CAT II approach. In any case, flare should be started at 4-6 meters, you've done at 20.

In case of holding off freeze the column and pull it more before touchdown.

Use spoilers on landing roll.

Do not forget to use MET after rotation.

Try to fly circuits since it gives more experience for piloting rather than flights using ABSU auto modes. Хитрый
