Tracker indicates 7 km.

Check please whether it was the first circuit or not, and have you set 0 distance on NVU before take-off in case several circuits?

It was the first circuit of the day and S and Z were 0 when I started. This means I put 280 as track, switched on the counter S and Z showing 0. Geografic latitude was set correctly 17 deg north on the TKS System. And : NO WIND! I had put on the ILS DME and it showed 8,8 km but I already past abeam by 20 deg Вопрос of the VOR, which is mor or less 1 kilometer in front of the RWY treshold. STRANGE!

Regards

Walter

This time I concentrated on trackwith and Z was nailed 8 km on the NVU, and 8,2 km DME abeam the VOR.

There were altitude problems in the second turn (power too low) after power reduction.

Think turn started on time but speed for 1 st flap retraction was too low.

The landing was bad also, but please check the circuit with.

Best regards

Walter

Walter,

I've checked over both flights at Google earth, and the track width was ok for both.

The tracker shows width incorrectly for some reason. I haven't expected that could be. Will try to understand a reason.

Hi Bell: Could it be cause its too far south (ACA is around 17 north and 100 West). Here the Airport maps and the ILS RWY 28 approach.

Best regards

Walter

P.S.: Praise to the NVU!

Not sure. Will check later. Probably because of Western Hemisphere you fly in.

Gear up at 3,7 m.

Max IAS 495 km/h.

G force 0,75-1,35.

Vref was a little lower than required.

If a balooning occured pull the yoke more before touchdown.

Other is OK. Remarks highlighted above require improvement.

Hello, Walter

Flaps retracted from 28* at 325 km/h.

0 flaps at IAS 386 km/h instead of 410.

Crosswind turn started at 250 meters.

Level flight and espesially approach on final were excellent! Хорошо

Late flare at 3 meters and short range of pulling the yoke led to hard touchdown.

Take-off and climb still unstable, other stages are fine in every flight.

Nominal thrust 1% below required.

G-force 1,4 during crosswind turn.

Do not lose IAS in turn. Base and final turns have to be performed at IAS > 370 km/h. It dropped a bit in this flight.

It's forbidden to push the yoke beyond a balanced position in case of hold off or balooning. It leads to hard touchdown which has occured in this flight.

Other was fine.

Walter, hello,

In Russian Flight school we have adopted several initial exercises for Tu-154M. Therefore, after you finish exercise 1 we are ready to propose you continuous flight program for M. Хитрый Wait for your final attempt for ex 1 Улыбка

Was changing the sensitivity of the elevator in JOY and working on exerc1, but as you will see still plunders like initial altitude, speed. But I am sending the last MSRP as it stands, maybe you know a cure? (1,5 to more fuel to beginn the T.O. with 81,5 to which means after landing 79,8 to?)
Hoping that at least the landing starts becoming better.

TOW 80 to MAC 27,4 after landing: 78,3 MAC 27,2
Tu 154M version 2.02 with winglets.
15 deg C 759 QFE.

Best regards

Walter

There are only 2 mistakes in this flight.

1. Overpassed circuit height. For avoiding this next time, reduce thrust at 450 meters, this will not give extra power for overpassing circiut height and acceleration above 450 km/h.
2. Lost airspeed on final down to 272 km/h before flaps extension to 45*. Need not less than 280 km/h.

As for landing and other stages... We couldn't do it better than you done it in this flight. That was great! Хорошо

You're about to final attempt. Улыбка
